      Salary Range: $ 65,605.00 - $98,407.00

      Position Summary:

      Responsible for managing the showroom, conducting product presentations and various inside sales functions to drive sales and as part of the NY Sales Team. Activities will include supporting the Regional Sales Manager and Sales Reps as well as interfacing with dealerships, the A&D community and end-users.
      Reports to NYC Regional Sales Manager, supports NYC sales reps and customers.

      Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

      • Greet walk in traffic in a positive manner. Our customers are our first priority and any other activities are secondary when a customer is in the showroom.

      • Addressing any other needs of walk in traffic, including materials, quoting or any customer needs relative to product and/or company

      • Host showroom events; planning /coordination lead of showroom events; event planning assistance possible on outside showroom events

      • Develop and promote an annual calendar of events, i.e., seasonal customer relationship events, new product launches within showroom, NYC roadshow events, etc.

      • Participate in industry trade associations including IFMA (Facility Managers), CREW (Commercial real estate brokers) and others. Meetings held in our showroom.

      • End user solicitation within target vertical markets leveraging current contracts, identifying and qualifying key personnel

      • Handle approximately 30 small accounts in NYC, including literature distribution and product and company updates

      • Ensuring that the showroom has products on display in good working order. Products to be determined by team including NYC Territory Managers, reps and internal marketing team

      • Track showroom visits by customer and share with team

      • Actively participate in driving showroom traffic

      • Ensuring that showroom has latest marketing materials including all literature, finish and materials as well as any appropriate marketing material

      • Support the NYC sales team and become familiar with their Core Competencies and clients.

      • Facilitate and support the sales process by add-on selling, information gathering, and relationship building.

      • Liaise with Credit, Customer Service, Warranty and Order Management teams effectively to create a seamless and service-centric experience for our Dealers and End-Users

      • Continuously build upon product and protocol knowledge.

      • Assist Territory Sales Manager with NYC website inquiries

      • Spearhead Digital Marketing-NYC Showroom on Linked/Twitter, E-mail and Instagram

      Qualifications, Skills and Education

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      • At least 2 years’ experience in the role or experience in a similar working space

      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

      • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment, both independently and as a team

      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

      • Ability to present product

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Minimum 2 years sales support/showroom management experience within the commercial furniture industry

      • Experience in a retail or sales management role for a minimum of 2 years

      • At least 2 years of design experience preferred

      • Commercial Furniture Industry experience is a plus.

      • Strong time management and organizational skills
